We're highly motivated to find creative ways of challenging, removing, and eradicating barriers, inefficiencies, inequities, stereotypes, perceptions, myths, narratives, bias, and preconceived notions that hold back creative individuals from discovering their best selves.
The deeply rooted, widely accepted, and romanticized "starving artist" myth and narrative is a construct that continues to hold back artists from reaching their fullest potential and dilutes the value of art and creative expression in theory, in reality, and in market value.
